What do you do at SDG?
I connect and build relationships with professionals throughout the Twin Cities that could be potential fits for SDG!
Why did you pick the type of role you have?
I like connecting with professionals throughout the Twin Cities and having the ability to impact someone’s life by offering them conversations or opportunities that they didn’t realize were out there is extremely exciting.
What do you do outside of work?
I enjoy being active – I like golfing, I play in a softball league in the summer and fall, I enjoy going on walks with my wife and dog. I also enjoy relaxing nights in watching a new movie or show. My wife’s family has a cabin up north so we try to get up there as much as possible during the summer which is a nice weekend escape from the cities.
Tell me about your family!
My wife’s name is Allison, she is a middle school English teacher. We met our Junior year at Winona State and have been together for almost 9 years (married for almost 2). We don’t have any kids but do have 1 dog. Reece – he is a Havapoo (Havenese + Poodle mix). Some of Reece’s favorite things include going for walks and chasing any rabbit or squirrel we cross, eating dandelions, and taking naps.
Where did you go to college?
I went to Winona State University where I majored in Human Resources Management and Business Administration. I am very thankful for time at Winona as this is where I met my now wife during the fall of our junior year. I played on the Winona club baseball team for 3 years where we traveled across the Midwest on weekends to play games.
What do you like most about your job?
Getting to meet new people, having the ability to help find the perfect role for someone, as well as filling a need for a company. I also like getting to build, maintain, and expand my network of professionals throughout the cities.
What’s your favorite season – and why?
My favorite season is summer, I love the warm weather and being able to get outdoors! I enjoy the warm weather and being able to get outdoors do some of my favorite activities/hobbies! I enjoy golfing, playing softball, going on walks with my wife and dog to name a few.
